October Forest Thanksgiving

I am so excited to actually be making my fist blog post! This past weekend I went up to my aunt’s cottage for Thanksgiving with my family (and yes, I live in Canada so Thanksgiving is in October :) ). It was so gorgeous with all the leaves starting to turn to beautiful reds, yellows and oranges. I went out on the lake in a kayak and it was so peaceful and quiet. It was late in the afternoon and the sun was turning the trees gold and creating a beautiful reflection on the water.

I’m just starting to get into photography and I thought the fall forest would be a beautiful start. So happy Thanksgiving and until the next post.
